Understanding Screen Specs

Screen Resolution — The total number of physical pixels on your display (e.g., 1920×1080). Higher resolution means more detail.

Device Pixel Ratio (DPR) — How many physical pixels represent one CSS pixel. Retina displays have DPR of 2 or 3.

Viewport Size — The usable area inside your browser window, excluding toolbars and scrollbars.

Color Depth — Bits used per pixel for color. 24-bit = 16.7 million colors (standard). 30-bit = HDR displays.
